FREE HANDS ON PROGRAM
Every Sunday beginning April 3
Make a Painting Sundays
1-5pm
Free with Museum admission. No reservations required

Every Sunday visitors are encouraged to try their hand painting plein air, in the open air, just like the Lyme Art Colony artists. Painters are given brushes, palette, paint, canvas, and a smock and are sent to paint down by the river or in Miss Florence's garden. All ages and skill levels welcome. There are also hands-on art projects, books, games and puzzles to enjoy. A great way to spend the day. Complete your day with scavenger hunts and visit the historic artist studio.

Fresh from the Fire with Jennifer Johnson
A colorful presentation on the art and inspiration of Jennifer Johnson’s fused glass jewelry creations. “Much of where I’ve traveled, creatively speaking, has been on my own. My jaunt as a painting major shines through in my latest work.”

This festive event features live and silent auctions that support our educational programs for children and adults alike! This year’s event celebrates the Museum’s 75th Anniversary with a seated dinner by River Tavern and dancing to the vibrant sounds of Mass-Conn-Fusion.
