North Carolina artist Patrick Dougherty has created his monumental sculptures all over the world, but has never worked in Connecticut - until now! Inspired by the location, Patrick weaves truckloads of freshly harvested native tree saplings into unique and telling forms called "stickworks." Some installations reach over 24 feet high! www.stickwork.net helps show the scale of his work. Watch Patrick's progress online or visit the Museum. Patrick is here Monday through Friday (except 7/6) from 9-5.
