Tour the Lyme Art Colony’s Wee Faerie Village before the Museum opens to this public! Arrive any time between 10am and 12pm to enjoy juice, coffee, fruit, and pastries—including delectable wee faerie cupcakes. Use the faerie map to explore the wondrous village or join volunteers for a guided tour. Make a magical faerie wand in the Education Center! A morning of magical faerie fun for the whole family!

Discover the Faerie Village on Columbus Day
Explore the Wee Faerie Village with your family on this “holiday Monday.” Special performances of Faerieology, an interactive introduction to the world of faeries at 10:15am, 11:15am, 12:15pm, 1:15pm, 2:15pm, 3:15pm, and 4:15pm.

Twinkling Twilight Firefly Tours
A Nighttime Exploration of the Wee Faerie Village

$20 per person
$50 for a family (up to 5 people)

Tour the Wee Faerie Village at night in small groups in search of the
elusive faeries (75 minute tours begin every half hour). Aided by lanterns and flashlights you will be led through the gardens on a magical quest to see the wee ones. Your adventure begins with Finding Faeries 101, fun presentation by the character Professor G.Nome, who will send the group with their guide out into the enchanted village and up to the Griswold House. Once there, a mysterious musician will reveal the magic potion that will enable you to see the faeries. A night of dark thrills and fun faerie-antics for all!

Sticks & Stories: Book Reading and Fairy House Making with Tracy Kane
$7 (members $5)

Join children’s author and fairy house aficionado (and faerie dwelling architect) Tracy Kane who will read one of her books on fairy houses before helping children create their own enchanted houses. Books for signing will be available.

Faerie Wings & Yummy Things: Tea Party & Village Tour
$14 per child and adult pair (members $12); extra guests $7 (members $6)

Share the enchantment of the Wee Faerie Village with your little ones at this tea party with faerie cake, a faerietale, and a short walk through the faerie village. Faerie wings and sparkly dress encouraged.

Wee Faerie Village Halloween Costume Parade & Pumpkin Party
Included with museum admission
Enchanting faeries, devilish elves, and everything in between are invited to join our Halloween Costume parade through the Wee Faerie Village. The parade will begin and end in the Hartman Education Center. Costume prizes awarded for Best Faerie or Elf, Very Very Scary, and Laugh-Out-Loud Funny. Candy, cider, and doughnuts for all.
